Hi all,
I have hesitated a long time time to post pictures of my collection but I have seen so many fine pictures of various collections, so why not?
I have been collecting WW2 German militaria since the early 1980's and mainly daggers. I managed to gather a representative array of these but had seen enough of them by the end of 2000.
I wanted something else and started looking around for Wehrmacht generals items but it didn't work out the way I wanted.
Early 2001 -on the GD forum- I got amazed by the variety of Waffen SS cuffbands and got convinced to collect them.
I bought my first cufftitles from well-known collector Bob Hritz and he has been very helpful in pointing out the pitfalls of this collecting field.
Since then, the -now- standard work "German Military Cuffbands 1784~Present" by Gordon Williamson came out and gives an in-depth presentation of known and existing cufftitles.
Given the seemingly endless variety of cufftitles, I decided to focus on BeVo and BeVo-like woven examples.
I will be presenting front- and backside views of the cufftitles I managed to find so far.
I hope you will enjoy, Denis.
