Thanks guys for the many kind words regarding my collection.
I have been in the middle of a move to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Ohio, from Washington State and I have not been active on the Forum for the last month or so. Since then I have acquired a few new tunics and equipment sets that I hope to post soon.
I have settled into my new house and have designated the 3rd floor bonus room as my "Man Room"! No girls allowed! The cost of living out here is very conducive to my collecting habits. What I mean by that is, many of the largest military shows within driving distance and big houses for very little money. I love it!
Stay tuned for an up date.

see Steve, all your hard unselfish years protecting your country has made the Gods of War reward you for your faithful service. now you can use your carpenter skills to hand craft a Bunker fit for the warrior you are. Im sure youll have many years of serenity in your new home. cant wait to check out your new possessions. (and your war room) when time permits... Glenn

Hi Glenn,
Thank you for your words of encouragement! My wife and I don't see eye to eye yet on the 3rd floor. She doesn't want me to touch it at all and leave it as an unfinished room.
I, on the other hand, want to sheetrock it and put in a nice carpet and make it a nice "Man Room" for me and my kids.
I will post before and after photos of my house and the work I put into it.
Best regards, Steve

Hi WAF,
I have finally settled into my new, or I should say, very, old house. This will be my project for the next few years until I PCS into retirement. I will post a few "before and after" photos of my "man room" as I finish it. But for now I'll show you my new "fox hole".
I believe this is my best buy ever. I bought it as an estate sale and it needed some work which I have already done. The only thing I need to do is strip the ugly wall-paper, then paint and install crown molding and picture rails which were taken down by the last owner back in the 1960s.

The 3rd floor is to be my man room but at the moment, it is full of un-opened boxes from my move. It took me 3 solid weeks to un pack all the boxes and store all my stuff away properly. Now I can relax.Attached FilesLast edited by airborne_steve; 11-19-2008, 05:48 PM.

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your positive feedback. I'm pretty happy with it. I can hardly wait to get my collection displayed again.
The house was built in 1926 by the family who owned the saw mill in Warren, 1878 to 1973. I'm the second owner of the house. Prior to me, the son of the family lived in it and he died at the age of 87.
The house has hardwood everywhere! A true carpenters dream.
