my collection has begun

I finally have the first items that marks the beginning of my collection.I will mainly focus on medals/bars ribbonbars en badges.The items are:
1:woundbadge in black marks EH and 126
2:Ost medal marks 4
3:West wall medal unmarked
4:kvk with swords unmarked
5:Small ribbonbar 4 and 12 year treue dienst wehrmacht

yes i'm very happy with what i got i also have a ekII unmarked on the way in very good condition.Next after the EKII are the medals that go with the ribbonbar and two award documents so i can have a nice display.

Those are the same medals I started with, not that my collection is huge. I feel every medal from that era tells a story and is a piece of history. I know some are more expensive than others but so what? I love them all. Nice stuff.

I hear that. I of course still get all excited with every piece I obtain (no matter how simple/small the item is) but those first feelings you get when your just discovering this world of collecting are great. sheer excitement at every nice piece you see, especially in person like at a show. yes, for better or worse you too will now become an addict. looks great so far, just remember, theres alot of garbage out there. use this forums "advanced search" alot and youll learn much. The EKII has to wait unfortunatly but instead i'm getting a woundbadge in silver marks 65 at the back+a mint mutterkreuz in bronze+somekind of pin don't what the pin is yet,i haven't got any pics yet.It should arrive next week when i have i will posting some clear pics

Well the postman came today wit a very nice package
Some new items:
1:Verwundeten abzeichen in silver mm 65(is a bit worn but readable)
2:Mothers cross bronze unmarked
3:Frontkempfer 1914/1918(hindenburg cross)no ribbon sadly had it for free
4:Lot of 15 photo's mixed mostly Luftwaffe also for free yes a superdeal






My whole collection so far,small but it's coming there



For some reason i can't take proper clear pictures maybe someone has suggestions as to get some clear pics.
