              Glenn, WOW!!
Well done MATE! I hadn't heard from you for awhile, now I know why
Great job - you've done a damn good job - I initially thought of just building another head for you, but you've transformed a jigsaw puzzle into a masterpiece.
Just to show everyone what a huge job Glenn's done, (I'm not sure I'd have even tried it myself) here's the head (unfinished) before I sent it over to him.
Glenn, I'll email you at home, but publicly I have to say FANTASTIC
Best Regards (love that helmet net)
              Mark.

alas... I remember that mug before His unfortunate disfigurement. thanks for the praise Mark. still wish I had those eyebrows though. I will probably try doing them again and just take my time. the photo you just put up will help me with guide lines for them. but like any athlete will tell you, without the proper coaching youll never make your desires come true. kudos to you from all of Us "inspiring mannequin make over artists" Glenn

                  Home made heads

                  Hi boys,
For my mannequins I do these heads.I paint it,my friend makes the heads.
I think it is not perfect, but is enough for me for the purpose.I say:bad head of mannequin spoils wonderfull uniform and perfect head distracts from uniform.I try to do something between.
Best regards from Czech Republic Petr.

OMG, Glenn! Why did such terrible thing happened.. I know that you were looking and waiting for this mannequin for so long! And it was a good one; Mark did a great job with the "plastic surgery" and painting. Man, I just cannot believe it
To be honest I have experienced something similar too last year. I also was looking for a mannequin forever. All mannequins that I saw for sale were too big for my ww2 uniforms. I knew that there are only "Webster" mannequins of small size available but I did not want to spend over $400/a piece (with stand + shipping). So I was keep searching, mostly on eBay.
And imagine how happy I was when on one sunny day I found and bought at once 2 Webster mannequins for only $100. That is not all, they came together fully dressed in uniforms (from boots to helmets): one in WW2 Russian (repro) and another in DDR. Of course I did not need uniforms, but I thought I would sell it on eBay maybe with some + ROI.
Anyway, a long story short. They both arrived completely destroyed, just like that face below, but not just face, everything was destroyed! Man I was pissed of! I send the seller almost $200 for shipping and instructed him to pack it "very well". And instead he put it all together in one soft box and send it for $50 UPS ground
I still have pictures that I made when they arrived, but I just cannot look at them again..
Life is good anyway, and as one famous Russian writer said (Chekhov): "If you have lost your hand, be happy you did not lose you head". At least, Glenn, your uniform have not been dameged!
