      Nsnap Kruyt Pin

NSNAP KRUYT PIN (Dutch Nazi Party)
I understand that the Dutch NSNAP (a copy cat of the German NSDAP) eventually got replaced by the NSB, making these pins rare!

Puuka knife (also spelled Puukka) Finland

Here's a neat Finnish Puuka Knife (also spelled Puukka). These are traditional Finnish hunting-utility knives for outdoors activities and civilian in origin but pretty much every Finnish soldier carried on of these for cutting, carving and killing! These were often passed on from father to son. What makes this one so interesting is the text on the blade (trench art), which reads "SVIR".
Svir of course being the Svir River, where the Finnish army dug in during the Battle for Leningrad!

This is not a collection it is a museum - amazing .
I can just imagine being a little the worse for wear and meeting that room ful of uniformed men .
" Who let you lot in ?"
This must have taken years to put together .

Here's something that not really belongs in my collection... as its modern...an Iraqi Republican Guard uniform! (US Airforce vet bring back!) Its pretty much all in unissued condition taken from depots in Iraq.
