Thanks for the thumbs up Kapitein! Yes you ID'd it correctly! Its indeed a very rare Dutch colonial forces (KNIL) mannequin! You won my quiz. Note its not just a uniform jacket, its actually a complete set: jacket +matching pants (+ ofcourse Klewang and gear etc....). A Manion's score (late nineties) which was incorrectly described as being 1930's Italian and I got it for 90 bucks (tunic+ matching breeches!). Nick
PS: re NSB visor comment: the dust covers up the moth holes nicely! Just kidding! I'll get my duster out!

So I won! Whats the prize! Private tour???
I see another KNIL jacket on post 163 !
        also a Captain ( 3 stars?)
Looks like summer tunic with the Dutch lion buttons?
Love this stuff! You need one of those straw KNIL hats though ( impossible to find but I am sure you will one day...)

ps: you need a better camera aswell! (or read the instruction manual ?)

I agree some of the pictures were archive pictures taken with a junky camera many moons ago... I have a good one now (and more experience with taking digital pictures!). That I can afford, a quality camera, but a KNIL Dutch straw hat I can not... unfortunately! I was actually offered such a hat for the price of a decent car (used) last year. Yes Post 163 is also a KNIL (officer's) tunic. Good eye! Tailored in Holland so most likely an "on leave" uniform, as its rather thick for the tropics!
