I thought that I would shre some of my cloth LW badges with you all, I purchased these fron Germany recently and all are guarenteed as 33-45 production!? Anyway see what you think

The breast eagle is a fake and all the cloth badges appear to be the same as those sold by Sean Weske, which did not get too many good reviews on this forum despite his saying he personally picked these up in the 50's while in Germany.

Thanks for your input, I bought these in good faith with the guatentee that they are real, however I bow to the greater knowledge of those out there! I know that none of these glow under U/V and to that end they will all end up in the mount of various military avaition drawings by one of the great artists such as Trudgian or Atack. As far as Weske goes, I have never heard of him! Never mind, they are a nice set of badges even if you think they are fakes.Thanks anyway

Sorry to say,but I've to agree with Gene..

Here're some examples for sale as fakes coming from a German site..
Watch all the "loose" threads and the pattern..

Thanks for the heads up on these, the badges came from Militaria 321 form a bloke who uses the name Nordwind with the guarentee that they were original, quite obviously they are not from what you guys and Gene are saying, never mind as I said in my last post they will be used to go into the mounts of aviation drawings so all is not lost.Sad, yes, that people are saying one thing and making out that they are something else as in the case of these badges. Jos why do we need to look for loose threads because I am going to treat this as an education rather than anything else! Chay for your information I live in the South of England, Lancaster is a name chosen because of my famliies association with the RAF
