Hi everyone - my thanks for the compliments, and the PM's.
Nine months... OK, that's enough for now
I'll leave everyone in peace until I've made any major pick-ups, but I'll leave with my latest cap, a nice Luftwaffe Tropical EM's cap. Heavily sun-bleached, original insignia, and it SMELLS great!
    Best Regards to EVERYONE.
    Mark.

              Thanks
Some folks place their tunics on coat-hangers, some on torso's, but I like to show off the whole uniform in a way that immediately tells how everything 'fits' together. And it saves on space!
Since leaving this thread alone for a couple of months I've had the m44 camouflage tunic examined by far more knowledgeable collectors, and I'm more than happy to say they all agree that it is original (other than the mentioned 'tarting up' for sale purposes).
I've also re-added my PzGren 1st pattern HBT tunic which I sold to fund a 2nd pattern tropical, then managed to buy back (!) and a nice little, un-played with Luftwaffe Bergmutze. Amongst other things
              CHEERS ALL!

Mark, I know your a very humble man and will say there are many collections out there better. (and Im sure there are, theres always something better than what any of Us have. ) but your collection always amazes me and I truely never get sick of looking at your ensembles. even repeat pictures you post I still stare at. not only prime examples but the way they are outfitted and the everyday equipment they would wear, just awesome. what more can I say, you are blessed by the Militaria Gods. Glenn

Mark, Your collection is quite incredible. And I thought the Yanks were world champion souvenir hunters! Those kiwi's didn't miss much. Also, I don't understand what "knocking a granny" means but if you have an interest in my M-40 trop, pls let me know. Rich

                                Hi Mark
just tuned into this thread again. I think I will need to move to the South Island!! I have a bit of gear, but still a country mile behind you. I think I count at least 10 NZ members on WHAwards. We should make an effort to make an email list some time.
Just managed to score a Y adapter to upgrade the old one on one of the S Mines & a 1kg demo charge. I'll get pics up on my site soon.
                                Keep up the good work!
                                Best,...Robert
