Some items found in Stalingrad, during Volksbund stile work looking for missing soldiers. The car motor plate comes from a vehicle carcass, and has the WaA stamp on it.

Remains of a letter given to me by a digger. He found a bunch of paper all stuck together, and I managed to reconstruct a couple of the letters contained in the bunch.

An other view. There was a lenghtly dicution between two prominent members who both like being right about wether original innertubes should be black or red. The conclusion was (of course) that both can be encountered. Maybe red has to do with erzatz end of war material?

Bullet hole. I belive this helmet was NOT being worn when it was damaged.
