Truly impressed by so many wonderful displays!

Herewith a Orpo combat display I had before the room turned into the baby room.... The mannequin originates from the Leiden-Delft Army museum (70-80's) and is made from plaster.

Cabinet guard

Hi Guys,



backside of the cabinet



The cabinet is 1937 dated and made by "Gebr Lübke" at Wiedenbruck.
The factory still exists today as "Interlübke", a verry big name in furniture.
So i contacted Interlubke Benelux and they told me some nice interresting details about this cabinet.
The 2 brothers Hans & Leo Lübke founded the company in 1936 and produced high quality furniture.
Untill the factory was confiscated by Hitler's regime to make propeller parts for the Focke-Wulf and to make "Officers Cabinets" like this one.
