Thanks Mark appreciate that, at this stage I'm not totally sure as I may be oversea's arround that time . But as workload is going to be crazy/ridiculas next year I may not be able to get away in which case I should be able to display.

Lets hope you can - your display would be a huge draw card to get the public in.

Speaking of the MAMS show here is my 2010 MAM show pick up which I guess I should really of posted in the... my favorate 2010 tunic thead. But anyway this grouping consisting of a 23rd Inf Batt- officers SD, BD and trousers plus boots named to Capt JR Bannerman a farmer ouside of Dunedin whom left New Zealand in 1940 as a 2nd Lt and came home a Capt in 45.

The tunics show holes of where two pips on each shoulder board were and then as he's been field promoted hes moved the pips along to fit the 3rd pip when promoted to Capt. The really neat thing is that both the Sd and bd are private purchase, 1940 dated and labled to a Dunedin Taylor. Both these tunics are well worn and would of been his daily oversea's tunics. After researching him a little more I found he had been in all the Theatres where New Zealanders served, plus wounded twice.

Now I am seeking a photo to put a face to the tunics.

Greg, you have a wonderful collection on display, it's great to see New Zealand's often ignored contribution to W.W.2 remembered properly, looking forward to seeing more.

Looks great Greg! I love the commonwealth displays. Your mannequins really fit the part well.

So what happened to your German panzer/assault gun and US/Brit Airborne items? Are they still there as well?

                    Hey Greg,
Great displays, but I notice you have some of the foam heads used in your displays. I have found that they can react with some leathers, and turn plyable leather into dry crumbly mess, and some leathers will desolve the foam. Keep a close eye on the foam.
                    Best
                    Gus

WOW!!! You have a very good eye for detail. Very realistic mannequins. I like them very much.
