                Luftwaffe officer's mess dress

This complete uniform (not the visor cap and the overcoat both named to Hauptmann Wooge, KG Boelcke, holder of the German cross in Gold) is named to Oberleutnant Karl-Heinz Leesmann who served in the I./JG 52 and later commanded the III./Jagdgeschwader 1 during the defense of the Reich got the knights cross the 30th of June 1941 for 22 air victories during the Battle of Britain. Shot down south west of Helgoland on the 27th of Juli 1943 after 37 air victories.

I see this string. Is the MG just hanging on it or the gun is some-how fixed to his hands or both?
If you tell me, then I will tell you how to change the background on your pictures
Thanks bnz.42, the string is the only thing holding the MG.
By the way, you cut off my MG's legs from the picture

I posted this one also in some other threads:

A LW Feldwebel, highly decorated with "EK I" , "Fallschirmsch******252;tzenabzeichen" and "Erdkampfabzeichen".

This Feldwebel is wearing the Fliegerbluse and Splintertarntrousers. He also is wearing a P08 Lugerholster and LW stamped mapcase on his LW belt.
In his hand he's holding the M43 Feldm******252;tze.

                      Enjoy the pic.
