" This naked manequin is awaiting a new tunic which I should have in a week or two and yes it is Luftwaffe."

Geez Greg I was just getting worrid. I thought that was taking "on the beaches of Normandy" a bit far. Anyhow jokes aside. I really like the way that you combined the pictures with the models and figures with your TR display. I always found that putting the display of ones collection together to be half the fun. It makes it possible to really enjoy a collection. Jacques.

I totaly agree with you jacquesf I love seeing well framed pics in a room they give a certain classy quality and create a real ambience to a bunker. I very much like the way you have framed your tunics in very well framed shadow boxes they simply look stunning!

Making Models especialy German Armour inspired me to collect German millitaria and German Millitaria inspires me to Model especially when I've run out of money. I often think you need the same patience and knowledge to collect as you do to model..there are so many parrallels to these hobbies.

        Cheers Greg

                Hey Greg,
It wouldn't be awaiting a certain Lufty HBT seen in the background, would it

                  Greg, NZMark,

I'd like some opinions as to colours that you use to paint your mannequins. I just got a bust on the weekend but its way too 'young' looking. Nzmark, I know you had a couple of pics on this thread about painting but if you could go into more detail that'll be great.

Thanks again guys, I guess I really should of done a separate thread as this might of got a bit sidetracked from the manequin theme.

Thanks Glenn, thats exactly what I'm trying to capture in this room, I think every collector needs a room from time to time where he can close the door on the world and really emerse him self in his interests..great for an unwind after a torrid day.. which reminds me I've gotta fit that beer fridge in here some where...and yes I'll camo that too!

Scott, I'm a hopeless photographer but yes I will do my best to get some photo's posted .

Well Mark, how did you guess, actually I think its the same one.

Hi Jeff, I tend to airbrush my heads with various dark to light skin tones creating a slightly harder look, I think the nose on your head gives him quite a feminen look so you may need to resculpture the nose but the head has good potential I'm sure Mark can go into greater details.

                    Cheers Greg

Once I've got my hands on my new item I'll get some good pictures up. Not too long now...
I'll put together a small guide to paint skin tones when I get a bit more time (but I don't want to give away all my secrets )
