I have a nice EM Infantry tunic that would look better with all the equipment, but I need to pick up a pair of EM trousers first.

The calves of this thing were too big and I couldn't get any of my officer boots to fit. I had to cut the foot as well.

I'll think of a way to re-fabricate the support brace.

    Hope you like it.
Looks good! I have also had to cut the odd foot to comfortably get a pair of boots on. And I just recently purchased an equipment case to place in front of the un-booted foot.

OR you could wrap it in bandages and give him some crutches.

Yes, he does have a baby face. Looks more like he should be an EM instead of Hauptmann. I'll fix that as soon as I acquire a set of EM breeches.

Thanks guys for the comments. This is likely the first of more to come.

          Very nice...!!!

And I know someone mentioned it on your earlier post, that is a cool mannequin...where did you find that one... Would be perfect for an SS display.

Here´s some RKKA. Pilotka belonged to Estonian vet who had it tailor made from Latvian cloth in 1945 (during the war) when Estonian Red Army corps where stationed in Kurland.

Well I'll be damned, don't know why pictures are shown lied down!!!

It was a true struggle assembling all together but I am very happy with the result...

You need a d-ring loop for the back of the belt/y-strap connection. It's riding too high. Also try putting the y-straps under the shoulder boards as it will look better.

Also - Unless you want to spenk $1,000+ on original trousers, have a look on ebay and pick up a pair of repro for $70. I cannot justify spending MORE than a helmet on a pair of combat trousers.

                                Looks good otherwise!
