    1st Pattern Juncker Observer's badge

    Gentlemen

The gods have been smiling on me lately, as I have managed to increase my collection of Luft badges again in the last week with the addition of 2 Juncker Observer badges.

Thought this 1st pattern was really nice, very worn, lots of character & fine details. Not new to a lot of you guys, but I am really enjoying these pieces.

    Regards,

    Neil

Reverse, the wreath is actually bent at the fracture points & shows on one of the side views.

                      Thanks Yuri

I was going to ask what type of case an early Obs badge would go in.

                      Regards,

Just my opinion but your 1st patt observer and case are not a match because the case is early-mid war and your badge is pre-war.

A part from that... love the badge!

Has anyone got a pre war example to show please.

                            Regards,

Agreed about the case style, but looks like the badge is married to the case. The "impression" of the badge into the flocking of the case looks like they've been together for a very long time. Also the "hair" on the badge matches the flocking when viewed under a microscope.
