There were 3 successive styles to the rear. The first pattern around 1907 had a half belt with two buttons like a greatcoat, this was soon replaced with a scalloped vent and 6 button arrangement like a typical 1907/10 tunic. In 1915/16 the back was again changed to the same pattern as the 1915/16 Bluse.

Photos of the back are tough to find in period photos as most are posed and not many or any that I can recall are of groups of these guys milling around in a casual setting. Some reference books show the backs of present examples.
