It's wartime cause it has a FL number.
I would think it a copy machine using a foto-camera or something. Maybe even using a smal sort of printing press?

It is indeed a photo-copier, already in use during the 30's. I had a civilian one from my dad. It is used to copie documents or pictures.Comment
