    1945 - DKiG Luftwaffen example? - Meister

    Hey ...

Is it correct that after 1.1.1945 not Loerzer signed the docs any more?

Does someone can show a pre 1.1.45 DK document with "Meister" signing?

    Thanks in advance !

Since General der Flieger Loerzer was fired on 20 December 1944 as Chief of Personnel Office of the Luftwaffe he surely had no opportunity to sign any documents after that date.

I don't know any "Meister" in this context .. could it be that here the Chief of the Präsidialkanzlei des Führers Dr. Otto Meisner was meant?

Learned something today! General der Flieger Meister was Chief of the Personnel Office after Loerzer.
Can’t say anything about the document.

I do not see anything wrong with the Doc. And Meister took over from Loerzers on the 20.December. So he had to countersign every document after this Date. The Signature on your Document looks absolute authentic to me. So in my opinion a perfect legit DK Awards Document you have there

Dietrich Maerz is for sure ahead the counterfeiters... and since new knowledge to him, I think it is safe to say legit

                i don't like the document !!

                from my eyes:
1, typing "1945.1.1" looks very bad.
2, the signature is bad as well.

                and
3, in DKiG name list, there are so many LW DKiG winners awarded on 1945.1.1,
that is not true ! i think LW is running bad system, lost so many exact dates of bestow of DKiG, so the list just make it up as 1945.1.1. according to this bad information, the faker makes the date of your document as 1945.1.1, the faker is cheated by the DKiG list becuase the faker doesn't have much knowledgement on the collection field or the DkiG collection.
i suggest you to put the thread to the document section for further discusstion.

The document is fake, in my own opinion !

sorry, i can't support you with any examples. as i don't like and collect LW stuff except for FJ.

from my collection to support opinion No.3:

the information in the DKiG name list:

but the actual date in the soldbuch:

The Document is absolute legit. The Signature is fine, compare them with known Examples from Meister. And what is wrong with the Typing? Because it is not in a perfect smooth line??? That supports more that it is legit then it is a fake. And in your Soldbuch you show is the actual Date where the Solider got the Award, and the Date shown in LW List is 1.1 because they collect the awarded Names together and put it out on there internal List at the 1.1. And this i guess will have something to do with Lorenz got out and Meister in. But whatever it was at the end, this Document is fine as well as the Signature on it.

Here is another Example from a 1945 LW Award Document, sign by Meister and one closeup from his Signature.
