Yes...and the cross/diamon thing in the grass to the left is the antenna. This is just a civilian receiver type radio....or the 1940's version of a "Boom-box"....wonder where they are hiding the sub-woofer!

Hard to tell! There are Audi, Skoda and many others looking like this. There are a few clues, but a big database of pictures is needed to identify the model by those clues.

            mirrored

If the photo are not mirrored, the car is right hand driven...

I think the picture is correct, the uniform eagle is on the correct side. But that moved forward right sit does not fit to a right wheel... It looks like a car with a central steering wheel

                Hello,

Thanks for all your answers. The car has features similar to several cars used by the Heer but I cannot positively identify it. To me it looks like a right-hand drive car. Maybe Hans would like to have a go at identifying it.

Larrister, to me the other distinctive feature is the graduated body line from the cowl to the front of the hood(bonnet) this would be a distintive feature and should help determine the make if not possibly the model. I would guess it would have to be British. If it is, it is captured equipment from 1940?Mike
