Gendarmerie Bergmutze Style Cap Opinions Please

Have been looking at this Gendarmerie Bergmutze Style Cap, now I have absolutely no experience of these.
I looks almost mint, is it too mint.

Any opinions on originality or other observations appreciated.

As this cap is mine, I did not want to interfere in any discussion questioning the item.

I do need to specify that the cap "looks" new and mint on picture ; and It is for the age, over 75 years old !!!

But, when "in hand" it is obvious the cap is "old"; the wool is tinned out on some place as seen on period cloth items. You guy's know what I mean :-)

Very nice cap with a pleasing look. Has also all the aging I would want to see.
