Luftwaffe flight Belt links / Gurtglieder

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for belt links which were used in the different luft planes.
    The 131, 151, 103, 108 etc. types
Found a few left and right, but not the 103 and 108
Is there anyone who has some German 30mm MK 103 belt links in his collection to show ?
I'm looking for a few of these, or even just one, so I want to make sure how they look like.., can't find any good pics.
I guess they will be tough to find.
Got some MK 108's, but they're in relic condition, hard to find some nice ones.

    Jos.

I can imagine they are batch code letters. Here are my MK 101-3 belt links and my rounds. I believe I have some more MK101-3 and 108 links...but in poor condition

                Pretty nice links ..

The MK 101 used a 6 shot magazine or a 30 round drum, no ?

I know it used mags but 6 rounds sounds a bit too little. 30 sounds more reasonable but don't know for certain. If you would like to see some more pics of mine, just follow the link :

Does anyone know if it is hard to get MG 81 links in good condition ?

                          Jos.

Nice pics and info there!. 6 rouns in a mag for that kind of gun should be really short burst...

Not easy but from time to time MG81 links do show up in the internet. I have some in my collection also.

I believe those links were also used with late MG17. What is really difficult to get is the MG17 continuous belt. I've got a piece for about 300 rounds, out of a 500 round belt (not sure if they were 500 or 1000 round belts)
