Hi,
I just spent the last month arranging our move from Texas to Arizona. I'm finally in AZ and have some time again to contribute.I did manage to find this interesting tunic when I was in San Antonio.
Of course I'm not exactly sure who used it. I know that Female items aren't everyones "cup of tea" but I'm hoping
someone out there can ID it or provide a picture of one in wear. Before I post the pics let me provide some additional info.First the cut is similar to a LW Fliegerbluse. Its brown which makes me believe its RAD.A lot of the female helferrinnen of the LW Flak Korp came from the RAD.I also believe certain RAD units came under LW control.
The tunic shows a lot of wear. All the buttons are replaced as well as the LW Eagle. I cut back a part of the eagle to see if there had been insignia previousily applied. It appears to be the case. The tunic is fully lined including the sleeves. Anyway here are the pictures.Any and all comments are welcome.Regards Jim
