Pistol holster French, German, or what

    Hello

I got this holster a few weeks ago out of a barn here in Germany, together with a russian holster for a TT 33.
Is it a French one? Or german for Officers?

Thanks and have a nice day

    Dirk

It is difficult to judge exact size, but I think it is probably for a .25 cal (6.35 mm)auto and dates from the WWI era or 1920s. I would say it is German most likely. A lot of these pistols were carried in WWI and some carried in WWII by senior officers and staff officers.

Looks like a commercial holster from the 20's or 30's for a small caliber. IMHO

These exact type of buttons are used on German field bottles. So for me it's German. A small caliber piece for officers.

Small caliber holster 6.35 mm. From the button on the holster I would say German to even Belgian.
              For example a fn baby.
