2cm KWK 30/38 shell, armor piercing

Here is a very nice 2cm Shell from the KWK 30/38 cannon. Lots of the original black/yellow paint still present. A hard to find Piece of ammo, especially in this condition. Very nice markings. Hope you like it.....

That appears to be one of the three versions of armor piercing panzer granate 40 with a tungsten carbide core. Very rare. Nice find.

Hi, do you happen to have the differences between the 3 versions? I have heard of 2 versions, but do not even know the differences here.....

Projectile model is "Hasag" model with dual "driving bands" or as officially known: mit Zentrierring.

Polte model does not have dual driving rings.

              Nice finding!

I did get another type of the 2cm armor piercing ammo....seems to be a Polte model. This is definately quite different to the HASAG model. Hope you like it.....
