it would be helpful to see a photo of the size stamps and where they are located....even if overstamped with theater stamps. I suspect that these may be W-SS breeches

Yes,original W-SS breeches that would have had the number 910 in the size numbers as the top stamp. I had a pair of these in Italian wool.

I have a private purchase set of M43 trousers with marked out French film studio stamps but the DH 11 stamp (which I assume is a studio inventory stamp) is still visible.

The 910 stamp would indicate SS mfg...Here is another set like yours http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Waffe...s/S032266.html

Thanks a lot for this information.
I will list my later on E-stand, but for cheaper than in the link (i ask a 3 partet price.....), IMO too mutch for overstamped, but as we all know the price is personal feeling

For me there are many points. The location and content of the stamps are of course big ones, but even when I could see neither of those I could tell by several other things that are at least most often if not exclusively found on W-SS trousers/breeches. I can PM you but I prefer not just to list them here. Also the stamps are not always in that location on W-SS trousers.
