    A trio of Colt 1911s

Here are three of my favorites. A 1911 dated 1918 and correct for those purists out there. A Colt 1911A1 likewise all correct, and finally a Norwegian 1914 as used by the occupation forces.

                      Gary,
1911's are one of my weak spots. I just 'em
Some real beauties here!!! I especially like the Norweigan!! You are a lucky man. I've been looking for one of these for some time----

                        Nice group Gary!!

Its amazing how that 1911 design is almost unchanged in some of todays pistols. They are nearly perfect.

I have a 1911A1 Remington Rand (1943) that feels and shoots better than my brand new HK USP!!

                          Hi Eric,

I agree with you 100%! I am a serious HK collector and I don't own a USP. I absolutely hate them! Oh well no company is perfect.

                          Gary

                            Hi ronnie,

Yes I was lucky to get it when I did.

                              Hi Gary,
Its pretty disapointing when a well respected company like H+K pushes a total load of cr*p like the USP into production whith no regard for their previous reputation.

The .45 USP looked real nice but didn't perform as well as the old 1911A1. At any rate the HK is gone now and I still have the Remington Rand.
