Veterans Flag...OK?

Hi Guys,

I just picked up this flag. I have been looking for a real one of these for a long time and I think I finally found one/ Great size for Display, also. Would Greatly appreciate any comments on whether it is good or not. Maybe OFW or someone else of the folks knowledgeable about Flags could give me an Opinion.

Well, here it is! Fire away! 60X90 marked on left margin reverse, also has M9/26 in the center Reverse, and NS Soldatenbund on right margin reverse.

Wow, I am pretty bummed that this is going this way so far. I purchased this through a large Berlin, Germany Firm that has a good reputation as far as I know. I have bought other things through them and always been very happy with the items. They are a bit pricey, but always have had good stuff. At least they accept payment through Paypal and offer the Money back warranty on their stuff through Paypal. So I am going to sit tight for the moment and see how the comments progress. RG88

This vet flag fake is listed in the pinned "wmtf" thread
as list number Fk4 = M9/25, 60x90, from t=335496, and
also as Fk4b = NS Soldatenbund marking, from t=509449.

Well, OK! Many Thanks all. I guess now I will get to see if they are going to honor their Warranty! Onward and upward! I know that Paypal is very good about convincing bad sellers to cooperate. I went through a return like this once before and they even went so far as to locking down the guys account until he honored his warranty. these guys tend to get real reasonable when they can't take out any of their $$! ;^)

compare it to the 60x90 flag you bought and you will see the difference. the main thing being real ones are double sided!!!

If annyone has a Delta Catalog showing this flag I would GREATLY appreciate a scan showing the listing. I used to have a pile of those catalogs from back in the day, but I think they are all history from my pile at this point. I went digging yesterday and found some real blasts from the past from the likes of Joe Walters and several others. Even found one of Rudolf Souvals Flyers. But No Delta. Some of you guys might get a kick out of this one:<break>

Looks like prior to 1940 the NS-Sb used
the Imperial veterans IC flag pole top.

As stated by others 60 X 90 is a well known and used sizing on fakes, especially ones made and sold by DELTA in the 70's
Research can save you $$$$ and Frustration
