The Leistungsabzeichen for the Regierungstruppe of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is an extremely rare badge. I suspect that the first one you show, with the hollow back design and the German tinnie/day badge type pin, is a fake. I've read that originals of this badge were die-struck, but with a solid back and a more standard hinge, pin, and catch attachment. And with the very late institution date of these badges (July 1944) I would think they were made of zinc.

I suppose the second one you show stands more of a chance of being original. I've read that +HB+ within the cartouche is a known maker, but I don't know how accurate that information is. With my very limited knowledge of these I would be reluctant to ever buy one.

Hopefully, others will know more about these rare badges.

    Best regards,
    Tom

        Hi
Hi I have an original Leistungsabzeichen silver badge with hollow back that is posted in my web site. It came with the streetcar pass showing the picture of the recipient. The reverse is different from the one posted here.

          Hi Rene,

So there are originals with a hollow back design. That is good to know. Could you post some pictures of the front and reverse of your badge?

          Thank you & best regards,
          Tom

Hi Tom I sent you an e-mail with images of the badge I didn't want to post it here because I don't want fakers to see get ideas.
