SS oficer Degen - Dachau. SS proof stamping on the scabbard mount

Hi.
I have bought this beauty a few years ago. This is a SS officer sword Dachau produce. My question is how it is possible that upper scabbard mount has SS proof stamp. In my knowledge SS officers sword made by Paul Muller doesn't have any SS kulturzeichen stamp.
But this sword I bought from very good source and I don't belive something is wrong with it. Have anyone heard about exception like this????
