Minesweeper in Zinc

Hi guys,


has anybody seen this type of minesweeper before? This piece has a very distinctive eagle, is made from zinc and quite a heavy bugger. The picture is a little deceiving but it has a rectangular catchplate, but I´m quite sure it is not a Souval though...

Hi Daniel,

This is an old reproduction known as the "feathered eagle" fake. It's based upon the Gablonz R.K. design but with a feathered texture to the eagle.

Although some examples of the "feathered eagle" MS can look deceptively convincing, others are a complete giveaway like this crude example and another with a fake Wiedmann maker mark.
