thanks!!! I got two minis. The one which was with the Deumer destroyer and one in the same design, but in better condition.

Hi Sven,

I think you're out of control with the repeats in your collection , but that really is a stunning vertical pin Deumer Destroyer.

Regarding the minis, Peter and I were discussing this type before because he has one of these as well and they aren't all that common. I suspect that's the Schickle design. Although by no means is it an exact match to the full-size badge, it's the closest to the Schickle obverse design of all the Destroyer designs. We know from Schickle's catalog supplement that they made a Destroyer mini with the area cut out behind the mast -- a feature not seen on most other Destroyer minis. The fine knurled pin matches that seen on the Schickle marked EK1 mini and your other example with the wide knurling is the type of pin seen in the Schickle catalog.

@Norm: Thanks for the information about the minis!!! Am I right, that the two have the same design? I hoped that they are Deumers as well :-) Do we know Deumer destroyer miniatures?
