      Replaced eagle IMO.

        SMP what is your evidence? Eagle is untouched original and textbook. There is not additional stitching holes etc. it is also perfectly nested into the wool tunic. Came from Mike Davis 3 years ago. He will confirm.

                            I'm only going by what I see in pics, and what I see in these pics looks sloppy. Especially the artificial silk area. I like symmetry, and based on the pics it doesn't look as symmetrical as I would expect. It could very well be original stitching but here is a pic of what I would *normally* expect:

                              Hard to tell from the photos, but are there "extra" holes beyond where the stitching is currently?
                              Could be the old eyes though.
