In post 3 the 2 disks seam to be a separate made and attached piece ? I have never seen this ... but this not an area of interest ... is this correct ??

I don't think they're detached, and I've not seen examples that were. The original poster hasn't responded with more photos.

It some what looks like the edge curls under in the picture . ... light is creating a shadow there ?
I have seen something similar on KvK2s and KvK 1s so far only . Capped wreaths with the purpose to either cover up original or restore denazified centers .
