Auxillary Cruiser Badge w Diamonds Good or Bad

Guys- I have the opportunity to buy this Auxillary Cruiser War Badge with diamonds - is it good or bad?

Hi Fred,

I've rotated your image to make it easier to see, but it's not looking good I'm afraid.

Only four Auxiliary Cruiser commanders were even theoretically eligible for the Auxiliary Cruiser Badge with Diamonds, and only one is know to have received one - Bernhard Rogge. His badge is supposed to be the one shown in Gordon Williamson's book "Torpedo Los"; it's based on the Juncker design and is considerably different from the one you showed.

If a jeweller can verify that the badge you show is made of real silver and diamonds then at least it has a bit of value on that basis even as a reproduction, but it's missing a "diamond" even so.
