Thank you guys. Just confirming my opinion. I bought this one Long time ago. I like it because ist well worn and tunic removed.

the back plate never belonged to this shield imo as locations of holes on the plate do not match prongs on the shield also without prongs there is no way to attach the plate to the shield, even with those newly made holes in the shield, with no prongs the plate is useless so clearly they have never been worn together as one.
The cloth is for/from something else too as holes in it do not match holes in the plate or shield or prongs
