    HJ Buckle With RZM Tag

Hi Everyone. I am new to the forum and this is my first post. Just wanted to get some opinions on this HJ Buckle with the RZM tag still attached. The buckle itself is marked on the rear diamond RZM M5/276. Not sure how to post pics. Can send pics to anyone who sends me their email address to shashi4g@aol.com

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum (and from another SoCal collector )

I also cannot see the usual image attachment option...perhaps a problem others are having?

The buckle you've described is a well known buckle by maker Klein & Quenzer and, in my opinion, fairly common. This is the only maker known to use the RZM M5/ designation in lieu of the usual RZM M4/ for belt buckles. The buckle is found both with and without a pin shroud. KuQ is also one of only two makers (the other being Hermann Aurich) to have marked their buckles in this location...something that probably made the RZM a bit twitchy as it is not exactly regulation.

There is one other KuQ-M5/276 marked HJ, much rarer to find as the construction is die-stamped zinc/kriegsmetall and not the usual molded zinc type.

I hold examples of all mentioned so feel free to email me. Hopefully whatever the image upload issue is will be resolved or someone will illuminate us.

**Okay, I think I realize the issue. You have to have an "Association Member" type membership ($25) to post images on estand (I have let mine lapse...) I can't remember but is this now also the case for posting any image attachment??

These HJ Buckles are very beautiful specimens, not often to found.

Adam is right, to use the attachment feature you have to be an Association Member. Otherwise you can load the pics on a free image hosting website and then use "insert image" function with the pics URL. For other info refer to:

About the buckle Adam has already said everything, IMO KuQ stamped zinc is a rare beauty

                Thanks to everyone

Thanks to everyone for their help. The buckle has been sold. How do I sign up to be an associate member and pay the $25.00?
