    Floch Floch Floch

I´m stunned over the great numbers of FLOCH crosses posted
Here is a gallery showing the look of a FLOCH EK1. The same type of hardware can be found on the FLOCH KVK.
I hope it can be of some help.

    Cheers.
    Peter

Apparently mr. floch was a very busy man. Anyone know how many years he made these things?

      thanks,

folch is not floch, It means that they are fake.
Couldn't it be usefull if these quinds of threads become "sticky's"?
                Kind regards,
                Giel

                  pep.

                  The name is Floch
He produce (d) and/or distribute (d) reproductions. Most known is the EK1. You have photos of it above.

Buy a good book on the Iron Cross.
A good book on the Iron Cross would be: Gordon Williamson-The Iron Cross of 1939.
Spend alot of time browsing this site.

                  Cheers.

Let us not forget the L/14 and other Floch Gold Wound Badges. I noticed long ago that the EK1, KVK1, and L/14 GWB have the same flaw on the pin. It is not cut in a symetrical fashion where it meets the hinge. Here is a picture from long ago that points to what I am talking about. This is not on all Floch pieces but it does tie them all to one source.

Excuse my ignorance but does the term floch apply to all fake medals or just a specific type of fake medal made by one well known maker?
                        thanks for the help

Hi Matt, the term refers just to these copies. They were made by a man named Johannes Floch. Do a search on his name and lots of info will come up. Seba has actually met him.

Hi Peter, Very well done in providing this thread

                          Cheers, Ade.

I have read about him being at the Max. Does he have a website or is he strictly "mail order" type of guy.Cheers,
