Police Bayonet

Just got this from a picker friend of mine.A great bayonet the blade is beautiful & so is the scabbard & frog.Its is 13" long.Not into dagger so any more info would be helpful.Enjoy!!

Hi Dave-Yes the same markings are on the scabbard.

Slotted is less common, maybe 1 in 7 are slotted, just to give you a rough idea.

Thanks. Figiured it stood a good chance of being matched but still I had to ask. Looks like it also has the blade spine marking a starburst? A good looking pol bayo

1 in 7 sounds like a good ratio on slotted to non, like Billy mentioned. Slotted is not scarce but less seen.
