Out of Africa: mediterranean pilot for your enjoyment!

    Hi Guys,

as it is almost tropical weather this winter I thought I would show you one more of my pilots. Here he is: a Meditterean pilot. I would say Tunesia 1943? Anyway enjoy! As always if you see ways to improve upon it do not hesitate to let me know.

    Cheers, W

            Great!

But give him a pistol. Deactivated will do, no one can judge that when it is in the holster.

            Edit: Nice little cat!

Unfortunately deactivated guns are also illegal - so no guns for me . I thought I had it covered by putting a camera in the holster. I thought that at least made it look like the holster had a gun in it.

I had a difficult time keeping the cat out of the pictures and I thought I had managed to do so, but apparently she did manage to sneak in. Some will do anything to be noticed.

                    Willem,
A lovely representation. I like the way the pilot is understated and how you have not tried to load stuff on him.
                    Regards,
                    Andy

                              Great one !

Improvement or better said continue to build it up a little bit more ..
Pair of gloves between the belt, compass around the belt .., goggles around the cap band, I've some lovely pics showing that, canvas pistol holster, maybe jacket over trousers and belt over jacket, maybe swimming vest over one shoulder or holding in hands ..
..... but I also love it the way it is, just imagined if it were mine ..

Great flight jacket, I'm jealous ..

I should step back from all this for a while, but it's like quiting smoking .., it's always intersting to see new blood in the hobby.

                              Jos.
