    Adolf Hitler dedication formal presentation frames

    How much is known about these beautiful frames? Is there an idea of how many exist today in collections of the formal presentation ones with Hitlers dedication written?

    These were signed and gifted by Hitler personally. They are 1″x9.5″x13.5″, made of .925 sterling sheet frame, hammered finish with a soldered eagle and “AH.” All are marked on the rear “sterling .925 FHW-Wellner”, who was Hitler’s jeweller.

    I'll attempt to catalog some which are on the net but please add if you know of or have one. Even if its one of the unsigned versions which were war booty.

                Here's possibly an unframed one dedicated to Eva Brauns mother, currently owned by waf member Bill;

                ...It was a gift to him from the vets uncle in 1960. The late Vet obtained it either in Munich or Berlin and told him he "removed it from a heavy silver frame".

                Stunning and imagine this in it's original frame...

                  Hello, this is my best out of the woodwork find many years ago. I had a hard time believing the caller when he told me about it. Of all these pictured there seems to be a range of different appearing AH signatures. Any comments on the differances, different time periods? Best, Bill Bourque

                        A valid inference Bill..formal AH items are heavily faked and unfortunately close up shots of most listed I do not have, especially of the eagle and all important Hitler signature, nonetheless both are are beyond my ability to authenticate. All I can say is the eagles on some examples look blobby but its hard to tell from one photograph.

                        The more knowledgable members maybe able to disregard some above known examples immediately as fake.

                        But here's some close up shots of the eagle, frame and box of the Bouhler example.
