    HSF Badge from Tirpitz

    This is my HSF badge.This is from Tirpitz wreck and and has been under water for almost 70 years.

    With stand made from real teakwood from the deck of the Tirpitz

                Yep, someone had 4 or more of the HSF badges found in the Tirpitz and was going to sell one to me, dont know what ever happened.. sigh..
                You have a very nice display there Composite, a badge and a piece of the ship, enjoy..

                  I really prefer as mint as I can get for pieces in my collection but something like this would be a center piece to me. What a wonderful item. I also remember the previous threads and the underwater pics on these badges in the mud. Were you part of the group that found them?
                  It also goes to show you why they used teakwood for decks. Nice condition for 70 years under water.
