KM Gilt Buckle

Hello, anyone care to comment on this steel KM buckle please.

If I recall CTD of Ludenscheid made a steel or was it a brass gilt KM buckle. This one is unmarked. Surely the buckle is original but can't indicate if it's a repaint?

Would'nt mind as a prospect but not quite sure if for sale still.

it's a Overhoff steel buckle . But when it is gold colored with paint ,

i would suspect .
