If you go to the trouble of providing portepees for the blades, then insure they are proper ones. P.S.S. has a sword portepee; it should have the small police knot with green stripes. The SS-Polizei Unterfuhrerdegen has an officer bayonet portepee. It should be a large police knot with green stripes.

Great set. Of the three the bayonet is probably the rarest and most valuable.

I apologize for my error in the above quote. I shouldn't be trusting my memory as much as I do. The SS-Polizei Unterfuhrerdegen should be equipped with a large Polizei-Offiziersportepee. The large green stripped police knot was to be used on the Polizei Sabel f. Berittene.
