Luftwaffe soldiers used standard issue flasks (canteens).

IMO the cover of a Luftwaffe flask had always the standard brown/beige colour, not this blue-grey colour.

agree in 100% with Luciusdegeer. It's paramilitary/ luftschutz canteen. Luftwaffe dind't used any in blue felt cover.
