Excellent photo books: German troops in Italy, highly recommended !

“Deutsche Truppen in Italien”; a very nice three volume set that I run in to and that deserves some promotion.

Most pictures originate from archives of a Italian photo-studio and have of course never been published before. The photo's are sharp and large and will be excellent for uniform studies.

Vol 1: LW Flieger, FJ, Heer, Org. Todt/Landesschützen
    Vol 2: R.S.I. , Turkistan Legion
    Vol 3: Waffen-SS: LAH, RFSS

Here is a link to the website and for a impression, I could not find other places to purchase them.

    Enjoy!

They look great, are they only sold as PDFs or are there hard copies?

No, these are hard copies; approx 200 pages all having one picture per page. Price I had to pay was Euro 50,- for one volume + shipment.

Okay, I saw the link for a PDF but did not see a price for hard copies etc. About +- how many images and pages are in your volume?

Mike, does anyone have them in the US or Canada or do you have to buy from the publisher?

Sorry John, don't know. I bought my copies at the Milan shows as they were released over the past couple of years.

Just order via the contact form Matt, and the owner/publisher will get back to you.

Received last week Vol 1 of Deutsche truppen in Italien Very interesting studio photo's. A beautiful selection of original photo negatives from the inheritance of the former Manzotti brothers photographer's studio in Piacenza.
                      Highly recommended!.

                        Happy you like it!

I would not be surprised if more volumes will follow in the future; apparently this family owns a lot of original negatives, a great source for us uniform fetish!

I asked for you; indeed the website is down due to renovation. It should be back soon.
