RAF, Belgium, and Normandie Patches Good?

I picked up a 200+ US patches lot last night and these were mixed in with the bunch.

Many of the patches were at one time glued in a scrapbook, so there is still some glue and paper residue on the back of the RAF wings. The Belgium & RAF wings patches are very dark blue wool with cheesecloth backing. The Normandie patch appears to be of "bevo" type construction and is very intricately detailed.

I know zero about British insignia, so any help is appreciated!

          Hi John,

These aren't my area really but can point out a couple things that might be somewhat helpful. The wing is a Canadian one...RCAF vice RAF. King's crown type so pre-1954 and to me it looks original and possibly WWII vintage.

The "Belgium" flash I cannot comment on but from the construction seems to be about the same age.

The "Normandie" badge reminds me of badges for sale in tourist shops across Europe (and the world for that matter). It does not look to me like any kind of military insignia, rather a commemorative piece to be sewn on backpacks etc. The thread looks rather modern to me as well.

Hope that gets the ball rolling.

          Cheers,

          Adam

            Hi,

The RCAF and the "BELGIUM" badges look like reproductions to me but they are of the wartime type.

            Thanks from Jack.

              Thanks for the help Adam!

I am pleasantly suprised to know that it is Canadian - I am quite fond of our cousins to the north and visited Winnipeg as a very small child. I live in Minnesota, which is just to the south

              Thanks again!
              John

The Normandie badge is a Tourist rucksack badge ,and the others look like modern reproductions ,They could be unissued wartime badges but I doubt it very much .Rob

Possible. The rest of the patches that I got in the lot appear to be quite genuine. While not Brit, I'll post a couple of pics now to show what has kept these company for many years
