New pictorial book about the Frenchs in the LVF, KM, Waffen-SS

    Hi,

a new book - infact a special issue of the "Uniformes" ("Uniforms") magazine - was released a few days ago.

This A4 size magazine of 80 pages is an impressive work and will be a nice supplement to the Lambert / Le Marec trilogy of books and the Eric Lefèvre special issue about the french Waffen-SS of "Axe & Alliés".

You will find around 320 (!) pictures (volunteers, but also a lot of propaganda items - posters, flyers, booklets...), taken from various collections.

1/3 of the special issue is dedicated to the Frenchs in the Waffen-SS with wonderful infos and pictures !

The special issue has the next sections :
    - introduction (2 pages)
    - LVF (French volunteers' Legion : 1941-1944) (30 pages)
    - Légion Tricolore (born-dead Vichy project to lay hands on the LVF) (8 pages)
    - Kriegsmarine (4 pages)
    - N.S.K.K. & Légion Speer (7 pages)
    - Organisation Todt (5 pages)
    - Phalange Africaine (African Legion) (3 pages)
    - lSturmbrigade « Frankreich » (8 pages)
    - Division « Charlemagne » (8 pages)

Front cover of the special issue #29 of the magazine « Uniformes »

One of the double pages about the Légion des Volontaires Français

One of the double pages about the Kriegsmarine

One of the double pages about the Sturmbrigade « Frankreich »

Price of the special issue : 14.50 Euros in store

NOTA : i'm okay to propose - for free - my help for the foreign collectors of the WAF to buy and have the special issue sent everywhere. I checked quickly the prices for shipping in Europe and North America for example, it should be around 20 to 25 Euros, depending if you are interested by a tracking number or not...

I will also post the various new SS flyers/posters/booklets in the "SS poster" topic.

    See You

      Hi,

i will visit the bookstore of the editor, and it will be of course one of the first questions i will ask : an english version...

But even with online translator every collector should be able to understand the captions and texts on that special issue.

      See You
