HBT lining makes this einheitsmutze not original, just asking, you should know ? More common was the silky gray lining, correct ?

There was a debate over on cloth headgear about the 'collectorism' that SS M43's shouldn't have hbt liners, a colleague from NZ produced a stunning collection of bring-backs with provenance that had just such linings.

Thus the irony in my post
