opinions on para helmet

This one is on ebay. I am posting it to learn. It comes from Europe. The shell looks OK to me. Is this original?. The guts are in bad shape. I think it is very overpriced taking in accout the poor liner.

I don't have a good feeling about this helmet and the price makes me sick!! Look where it's coming from...Czech republic I think it's been messed with and stayed in the oven to long...now it's beyond salvation. Bill

It looks like original components, but in regards to what was done with them, all bets are off.

Yup! - eBay is good to look, rarely to buy.
Even the interior of this shell is camouflaged in this tan-like coulour! A "German soldier" (ahum) with lots of time available to him, I guess....
