Opinions needed on two EKI's

Both EK1s here are fakes (these have been called the "German Fake"). Also the Spange is the "Robot Fake."

Thanks very much streptile, I will save my money and give them a miss. To help me along my learning curve, is there an obvious characteristic here that shouts Fake?

Hi Peter,

Trevor is correct, both EK1s are fakes. Both are marked KO but both have incorrect cores and hardware for genuine KO examples. Even unmarked, the hardware on both examples would scream fake to me. It's a matter of looking at a lot of genuine examples from all the makers and knowing what is period (Imperial up to TR, even 57er vintage) and what is not.
